The altCABS Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

When you sign up for the affiliate program, the following terms and conditions will be applicable.


By signing up for our taxi affiliate program, it is deemed that you agree to these terms. the can modify/change these terms in the future without giving any notice.


In these Terms and Conditions, the following expressions shall have the following meanings save where the context otherwise requires:

  1. "You, Your" means the person who enters Details.
  2. “We, Us” means altCABS ltd or persons or entities representing altCABS ltd.

  4. “Affiliate” means the person or entity who made an affiliate account on website.
  5. "Details" are the details that You must provide upon making a Booking including
  6. "Website" altCABS's public website and mobile site located at, and altCABS's social media, smartphone and tablet apps.
  7. "Cab" is a Private Hire Vehicle or (Hackney Carriage) Taxi made available for pre-booked Trips, in compliance with the requirements of relevant Licensing Authorities.
  8. "The Operator" is the licensed Private Hire Operator or Taxi Operator with which You place the Booking, their Agents and/or drivers and/or employees
  9. "Quote" is a fixed price quote that You receive via the Website for the Trip.
  10. "Terms" are these terms and conditions between altCABS and You.
  11. "Agreed Pick-Up Point" is the appointed place for You to be picked up by The Operator as set out in the Details.
  12. "Agreed Time" is the appointed date and time for You to be picked up by The Operator as set out in the Details.
  13. "Booking" is the booking of a Cab effected via this Website for undertaking Trips. Bookings can be made for single Trips, return Trips, or split Trips.
  14. “Cancellation Allowed Time” is the Agreed Time (unless otherwise stipulated in the booking) without being charged a cancellation fee by The Operator or Us.
  15. "Card" is the credit, debit, charge card, or PayPal account You use when making the Booking.
  16. "Cash" is the payment You make for the Fare to the Operator and/or its Driver.
  17. "Card Costs" are the charges due to the credit card companies or PayPal used by You to pay for the Trip.

  19. "Fare" is the fee paid by You for the Quote You accept.
  20. "Goods" are any goods carried in a Cab that is booked via this Website.

2: Enrollment

In order to become an Affiliate through our program, you first need to complete the application through our Affiliate Program page. You must not use a fake alias with the aim of masking your true identity, and we expect you to fill in the form with true and accurate information.

After receiving your application, we will review it and notify you of the results of our checks within a few days. We will examine your website if any through the link you provide us as well as other relevant information (such as the country you intend to operate, the channels you are planning to use, etc.), and we reserve the right to reject any application. However, in case you feel that our decision is unjust, you are free to contact us at any time and we will be happy to review your application a second time

3: General

  1. the can change the commission amount at any time without any notice, but any bookings already made will be paid as per the older commission agreed upon.
  2. Commission will only be paid once a journey is completed, if it has two or more legs such as a return journey, the commission will be paid after the last leg is completed.
  3. If for any reason the does not receive the fare for the booking or we have to return/refund the fare to the customer, no commission will be paid, if the commission is paid already, we will deduct it from the future commission.

  5. The can terminate the affiliate program anytime without giving any notice, in such a scenario, the commission earned for ongoing bookings will be paid.
  6. reserves the right to remove an Affiliate from the Affiliate Program at any time without prior written notice in its sole discretion. If it does happen, we will pay any money dues as per the terms.
  7. In some territories, the altCABS will not be able to pay the commission into the bank account. In such circumstances, the altCABS will convert commission into points that can be used to make further bookings from our website or apps.
  8. The altCABS keep the right to pay any commission earned in points or in monetary value.
  9. Any monetary value will be calculated as per Pound Sterling currency and at the interbank exchange rate.
  10. To be eligible for affiliate commission or points, all the bookings must be made via logging into the altCABS portal using the account details associated with the altCABS affiliate account. Bookings made as a guest or using other login details which are not authorized as an altCABS affiliate program account can not be converted into an affiliate program.
  11. Affiliate commissions or points in any form can not be added or moved to any other account.

4: Invoicing and VAT

Your successful taxi cab bookings are treated as a service from you to us. Therefore, VAT may be chargeable for this service. If VAT is chargeable, it will be payable out of the commissions we pay you. If VAT needs to be paid by us, we will pay the commission to you net of VAT. If VAT needs to be paid by you, we will pay the full commission to you but you need to pay VAT. For you to issue an invoice to us for the referral service, you agree that we may issue the invoice to ourselves on your behalf ("self-billing"). For this purpose, you agree that you will provide us with any information we reasonably request, including but not limited to your tax status, tax numbers, residence, and place of business. You must immediately inform us of any change in the information you provided us.

5: Relationship

Each party shall be deemed as an independent contractor concerning the subject matter of this agreement, and nothing contained in this agreement shall be deemed or construed in any manner as creating any partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, fiduciary, or other similar relationship. The affiliate will be responsible for all owed taxes on the compensation paid by Affiliates are referred to as Affiliates in this agreement only to identify their rights and obligations hereunder and such Affiliates are not and shall not be an affiliate of SumUp for any other purpose. Neither party has the authority to bind the other.

6: Limitation on Liability

the shall not be liable to an Affiliate or any other third party for any consequential, indirect, special, incidental, reliance, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the SumUp services, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, and whether based on breach of any express or implied warranty, breach of contract, misrepresentation, negligence, strict liability in tort, or other cause of action (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of data, goodwill, profits or interruption in use or availability of data), even if such party has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Further, the’s aggregate liability to any Affiliate arising concerning this agreement and under the Affiliate Program will not exceed the total compensation paid or payable by to such Affiliate under this agreement.

7: Indemnification

The Affiliate shall indemnify and hold the harmless from any losses, claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including attorney's fees and costs arising out of (i) the manner that the Affiliate finds Leads and (ii) the Affiliate’s failure to comply with applicable law.

8: Terms of Termination

The may terminate this Agreement:

● If, at their sole discretion, the chooses to end the partnership with the Affiliate based on a business decision;

● If, in's sole discretion, the Affiliate is deemed to violate any provision of this Agreement;

● Upon the insolvency or dissolution of an Affiliate; or

● Upon the change in control of the Affiliate, via another entity's acquisition of the Affiliate.

● If this Agreement is terminated by the according to this Section 7, or if the Affiliate breaches this Agreement, the shall have no further obligations for payment of any compensation to the Affiliate under this Agreement.

9: Compliance With Applicable Law

The Affiliate shall fully comply with all laws, statutes, and federal and/or state regulations in the performance of any activities under this Agreement.

10: Assignment

The Affiliate shall not have the right to assign this Agreement without the prior written consent of the has the right to assign any right, duty, obligation, or interest in this Agreement whatsoever to any party without the written consent of any Affiliate. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to confer any rights or remedies on any entity that is not a party to this Agreement.

11: Modification and Amendment

Except as otherwise provided herein, the may modify any of the Terms and Conditions in this Agreement, at any time and in our sole discretion, by posting a change notice or a new agreement on our site. Modifications may include but are not limited to, changes in the scope of available commission fees, residual fees, payment procedures, and Affiliate Program rules. If any modification is unacceptable to an Affiliate, the Affiliate’s only recourse is to terminate this Agreement. An Affiliate’s continued participation in the Affiliate Program following our posting of a change notice, or a new agreement on our site, will constitute binding acceptance of the change. The affiliate may not amend or waive any provision of this agreement unless such amendment or waiver is in writing and signed by The altCABS can move or sell its rights under this agreement to any other party without any prior notice and without the need to acquire any permission from the affiliate.

12: Affiliate Responsibility

Affiliates acknowledge that they have read this Agreement and agree to all of its Terms and Conditions. The Affiliate understands that the may at any time (directly or indirectly) solicit customer referrals from other parties on terms that may differ from those contained in this Agreement. Affiliate has independently evaluated the desirability of participating in the Affiliate Program and is not relying on any representation, guarantee, or statement other than as outlined in this agreement.

13: Communications

The Affiliate agrees that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that SumUp provides to the Affiliate electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

14: Legal

This Agreement, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation, shall be governed by and construed following, the laws of England. Each Party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or its subject matter or formation.
